Novena For Sr. Carrie Comitz

|

I am saying a novena for Sr. Carrie Comitz' clothing ceremony, which will be held on the feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. This is a special way for me to offer something back of all the prayers that she has offered on my behalf. Anytime I asked Sr. Carrie for prayers, she always told me, "Be assured!" Well, I have been, and if you'd like to pray this novena for your own special intentions, by all means, join me. Just click on the link after the Sign of the cross to begin.

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Novena Prayer (I)

The Lord Has blessed you, Mary, for from you we have received the Fruit of Life. You alone, without an equal, have pleased our Lord Jesus Christ. Reject not our prayers in our needs, and deliver us from all dangers, holy Mother of God.

Hail Mary...

You have visited the earth and have plentifully showered it with blessings; you have enriched it in many ways (Ps. 44:10 )

Hail Mary...

Mary speaks:

"I walk in the way of justice, in the midst of the paths of judgement, that I may enrich them that love me, and may fill their treasures"(Prov. 8:20)

Hymn - Ave Regina Coelorum

HAIL, O Queen of Heav'n enthron'd,
Hail, by angels Mistress own'd
Root of Jesse, Gate of morn,
Whence the world's true light was born.

Glorious Virgin, joy to thee,
Lovliest whom in Heaven they see,
Fairest thou where all are fair!
Plead with Christ our sins to spare.

V. Pray for us, holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Prayer

O God, You were pleased to honor the Order of Carmel by the singular title of Your most Blessed Mother, Mary ever Virgin; grant, we beg of You, that she whose memory we solemnly venerate today may favor us with her protection so that we may be found worthy to share in eternal happiness. Who live and reign forever. Amen.
